A lone samurai walking through lo-fi fog. Faded Ronin is the solo project of Brenden Gillis — everything from the beats to the visuals to the mixing comes from one person. No committee. No outside producers. Just the work.
The sound lives somewhere between lo-fi hip-hop, heavy bass, and analog warmth — vintage drum machines, real synths, guitar, and bass layered into something that feels both nostalgic and restless. The visual side draws from hand-drawn watercolor anime and classic samurai imagery, somewhere in the Gorillaz lineage but walking its own path.
