High Samurai Vol. 2
Faded Ronin evolves. Same samurai world, more live guitars, bass, and analog color beyond pure sample-hop.
High Samurai Vol. 2 keeps the Faded Ronin character world intact and pushes the music outward. After Vol. 1 proved the sample-heavy lo-fi hip hop lane, Vol. 2 brings Brenden's live instrumentation back into the frame: real guitar, real bass, analog synths, and wider genre turns while the Japanese color and late-night mood remain. Still written, composed, and mixed by Brenden Gillis, with only small outside instrumentation on a couple of tracks. Mastered by Bill Henderson. Azayaka folds Daft Punk / dance pulse into a lo-fi body. Deity is the organic peak: drum machine, guitars, bass, and piano tracked as a more fully played-in session. Familiar Ronin territory, just more analog and played-in.
